KFC DELIVERS IN CHINA

CHINESE PEOPLE LOVE "DARK MEAT" CHICKEN ONLY.

So, all the chicken sandwiches are dark meat taken from the thigh or leg, etc... They do not like chicken white meat! We took one of our students out to eat, at KFC. These electric delivery moto-vehicles were parked out front. Yes, they do deliver.

Dana decided that she was needing something to do, so she bought a sewing machine in one of the malls. She had trouble finding where you could buy one, but this store had about 4 different models to choose from. Now she wants to upgrade to a better model, after trying it out at home.

We showed Duane and Sharon Judd, English Teachers, the huge wholesale market we call COSTCO. They have a lot more things for sale, more than any other place and the prices are good.

Dana bought a new vent hood and stove backer, and this man delivered it all on the truck trike. The problem was I asked him to deliver it at 4:30 today and Dana said that she did not want it delivered until tomorrow, so we could go out to dinner, and over to the other English Teachers apartment for the evening. She went back to tell them to deliver it tomorrow. That message was not understood and this little man delivered it today. He waited for about 1 and 1/2 hours in front of our apartment until we came walking down the road. At that point, he saw us from afar and started yelling at us... We thought he was telling at some other person, but as we drew closer, he was yelling at us for being so late and telling us he was pounding on our apartment door most of that time. He then came in and installed it. We gave him a $20. for his extra time, and he was happy. He wanted his photo taken with me, as we had the same cossack hats. He likes me. I gave him a sucker.

I passed this China Welfare Lottery sign and realized that they do have a lottery here in China.
Apparently they support education with the profits.

Bought a triple decker ice cream cone in the dead of winter. Impulse I guess, but only took about three bites and then into the trash can.... Not very good ice cream!

This is the Peoples Market Mall, where they did have a little desk selling sewing machines.

The mall looked cool for China...
